Fort Nothe Ghost Hunt

Join Barri Ghai at one Britain's spookiest and most haunted locations. 

The site is famous for its legendary ghostly whistling gunner and many people claim to have heard his eerie whistling in the Fort's extensive underground passageways. There are also reports of staff members refusing to visit certain areas by themselves and eye-witness accounts claiming to see a white figure walk the parapets of the building when it is locked and empty.

Nothe Fort was built in the 19th Century as part of the defensive strategy to protect Portland and Weymouth from attack it has been occupied for hundreds of years. Over the years many paranormal investigators have documented very strange occurrences in the labyrinth of tunnels and many rooms that run beneath the Fort. A survey carried out by The National Lottery revealed that the Fort was one of the spookiest locations in the UK.

This ghost hunting event will begin at 9:00pm with a short talk and introduction. Guests will then be spilt into three small teams and investigate the most actively haunted areas of the Fort. Barri will work with all guests throughout the night. 

There will be breaks scheduled between investigations to eat and have refreshments. 

During the investigation, you will be able to fully participate in activities and use some of the latest gadgets and applications in modern ghosthunting technology.  Experiments will include forms of Instrumental Trans-Communication (ITC), Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP's) and for those brave enough an opportunity to conduct a lone vigil.

Please arrive at the Fort between 8:30pm and 8:45pm. The event will start at 9:00pm and finish at 2am. 

Parking There is ample parking inside the Fort on the parade ground.

Refreshments & Facilities: Hot and cold drinks will be available for free on the night including a selection of snacks.
