Terms & Conditions

Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd ("the Event Organiser")

1. Age Restrictions

Ghostfinder Paranormal Events are primarily intended for adults aged 18 years and over.

However, the Event Organiser may, at their absolute discretion, permit guests aged 14 to 17 years to attend where:

  • they are accompanied throughout the event by a responsible adult aged 21 years or over;

  • the accompanying adult accepts full responsibility for the young person's supervision, welfare and conduct throughout the event;

  • a completed Parental Consent, Assumption of Responsibility and Indemnity Agreement has been signed by the parent or legal guardian before the event, where requested; and

  • the Event Organiser is satisfied that the young person is sufficiently mature to participate in the event.

Permission for anyone under the age of 18 to attend is not guaranteed and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd reserves the right to refuse admission to any person under the age of 18 if, in the reasonable opinion of the Event Organiser, attendance would not be appropriate or safe.

Proof of age may be requested from both the young person and the accompanying adult.

2. Accessibility & Health

We aim to make our events as accessible as possible. However, due to the historic nature of many venues, some locations may not be suitable for guests with certain mobility or health conditions.

Guests attend entirely at their own risk and are responsible for assessing whether they are physically and medically able to participate.

Pregnant guests are not permitted to attend due to health and safety considerations.

If you have any accessibility requirements or medical concerns, please contact info@barrighai.com before booking.

3. Behaviour & Conduct

Guests must behave respectfully and responsibly at all times.
By attending an event, you agree to:

  • Follow all instructions given by the Event Organiser, investigators, venue staff and volunteers.

  • Behave in a safe and respectful manner towards all guests, staff and volunteers.

  • Respect the venue, its contents and surrounding property.

  • Avoid any behaviour that may place yourself or others at risk.

Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any guest whose behaviour is considered abusive, threatening, aggressive, discriminatory, intoxicated, disruptive or otherwise inappropriate.

No refund or compensation will be payable where a guest is refused entry or removed for breach of these Terms & Conditions.

4. Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Alcohol, illegal drugs and any other intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited during our events.

Any guest believed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused entry or removed immediately without refund.

Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes, candles, incense, matches, lighters or naked flames are prohibited inside all venues except where specifically authorised by the venue or Event Organiser.

5. Safety & Liability

Guests attend entirely at their own risk.

Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd accepts no liability for personal injury, illness, death, loss or damage except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Guests are responsible for safeguarding their own personal belongings, clothing, equipment and vehicles at all times.

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded under English law.

6. Nature of Paranormal Events

Paranormal investigations are subjective experiences.

Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd makes no guarantee that paranormal activity will occur or that any individual will experience paranormal phenomena.

Any opinions, theories or explanations expressed by investigators, guest speakers or venue representatives are personal viewpoints and should not be interpreted as statements of fact.

Guests remain responsible for interpreting their own experiences.

7. Event Changes, Cancellations & Force Majeure

Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd reserves the right to alter, postpone, reschedule or cancel any event where reasonably necessary.

This may include circumstances beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to:

  • Severe weather;

  • Flooding;

  • Fire;

  • Government restrictions;

  • Public health emergencies;

  • Industrial action;

  • Terrorism;

  • Venue closure;

  • Power failure; or

  • Any other event that prevents the event from taking place safely.

Where Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd cancels an event, guests will be offered either:

  • A full refund; or

  • The opportunity to transfer their booking to a rescheduled date or another suitable event.

Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd shall not be liable for any travel, accommodation, parking, subsistence, loss of earnings or any other consequential costs incurred by guests.

8. Refunds, Cancellations & Ticket Transfers

Tickets are non-refundable except where Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd cancels an event.

Guests who are unable to attend are not entitled to a refund because of illness, injury, medical appointments, travel disruption, adverse weather, family emergencies, work commitments, personal circumstances or any other reason.

Guests may nominate another person to attend in their place, subject to the conditions set out in our Refund Policy.

Tickets cannot be transferred to another Ghostfinder Paranormal Events event.

Any goodwill gesture is entirely at the absolute and sole discretion of Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd, is not guaranteed, creates no precedent and does not amend these Terms & Conditions or the Refund Policy.

9. Photography, Filming & Recording

Photography and filming may take place during events for promotional, documentary, training or marketing purposes.

By attending an event, you acknowledge that you may appear in photographs, video recordings or other media captured by Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd or authorised representatives. Guests are welcome to take photographs and short video clips for personal, non-commercial use.

Guests must not livestream, commercially record, reproduce or publish substantial parts of an event without the prior written permission of Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd.

The Event Organiser reserves the right to ask guests to stop recording where it may interfere with the enjoyment of other guests, compromise health and safety, reveal proprietary investigation methods or equipment, or prejudice future television, media or commercial productions.

10. Customer Conduct

Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd reserves the right to refuse future bookings, cancel existing bookings (subject to applicable consumer law), or cease correspondence where a customer behaves in an abusive, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory or harassing manner towards our staff, volunteers, venue partners or representatives, whether by email, telephone, social media or in person.

This does not affect any statutory rights.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Nothing within these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
