Event Tickets – Refunds, Cancellations & Transfers

Booking & Payment
 

By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this Refund Policy and our Terms & Conditions.

Where a customer initiates a payment dispute or chargeback that Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd believes is inconsistent with these Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to provide the payment provider with booking records and evidence that these terms were accepted at the time of purchase.

All tickets for paranormal events are sold for a specific date, venue, and experience. By completing a booking, you agree to the terms set out below.

Refund Policy
 

All ticket sales are final.
 

Tickets are non-refundable once purchased, except where Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd cancels an event (see "Event Cancellation by Us" below).
 

This is because significant costs, including venue hire, staffing, insurance, administration and event logistics, are incurred and committed well in advance of every event and cannot be recovered if a guest cancels.
 

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, tickets for leisure activities taking place on a specific date are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period.
 

If You Are Unable to Attend
 

If you are unable to attend your booked event for any reason, including but not limited to:
 

• Illness or injury

• Medical appointments or medical conditions

• Family emergencies

• Bereavement

• Work commitments

• Travel disruption

• Adverse weather

• Transport failure

• Childcare issues

• Change of personal circumstances

• Change of mind
   

your ticket will remain non-refundable.
 

Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions as the event will proceed regardless of individual cancellations.
 

Guests are responsible for ensuring they are able to attend before booking. Where appropriate, we recommend obtaining suitable travel or event insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

Ticket Transfers to Another Person
 

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person, provided:
 

• Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd must be notified no later than 24 hours before the published event start time.

• The replacement guest meets any minimum age or participation requirements.

• The venue permits attendee name changes where applicable.

• The original purchaser remains responsible for ensuring the replacement guest has read and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

• Tickets must not be advertised or represented as being sold by or on behalf of Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd.
   

Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd accepts no responsibility for any private arrangement between the original purchaser and the replacement guest.
 

Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd does not operate an official waiting list, ticket exchange or resale service.

 

Transfers to Another Ghostfinder Paranormal Event
 

Tickets cannot automatically be transferred to another Ghostfinder event.
 

In truly exceptional circumstances, Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd may, at its absolute and sole discretion, offer an alternative solution as a gesture of goodwill. There is no obligation to do so and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the refusal of any goodwill request.

Any goodwill gesture:
 

• is entirely discretionary;

• is not guaranteed;

• does not create a precedent for future bookings;

• does not amend or replace this Refund Policy or Terms & Conditions;

• cannot be relied upon by any other guest as an indication that a similar request will be approved.
   

Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd reserves the right to decline any request without providing an alternative.

Event Cancellation by Us
 

If Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd cancels an event, guests will be offered either:
 

• a full refund; or

• the opportunity to transfer their booking to a rescheduled date or another suitable event.

• Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd shall not be liable for any travel, accommodation, parking, subsistence, loss of earnings or any other consequential costs incurred by guests.
   

Event Changes
 

Occasionally, it may be necessary to amend an event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

This may include changes to:
 

• the venue;

• event timings;

• investigation areas;

• members of the investigation team.
   

Where any change is considered significant, guests will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.

Where required by law, appropriate remedies will be offered.

Force Majeure
 

Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd shall not be liable for failure to deliver an event where circumstances beyond our reasonable control prevent the event from taking place. These circumstances include, but are not limited to:
 

• severe weather;

• flooding;

• fire;

• government restrictions;

• public health emergencies;

• industrial action;

• terrorism;

• venue closure;

• power failure;

• or any other event beyond our reasonable control.
   

Where possible, affected events will be rescheduled or alternative arrangements made. 

 

Where an event is postponed due to Force Majeure, tickets will remain valid for the rearranged date. Refunds will only be provided where required by applicable consumer law.

Accessibility & Support
 

Guests requiring assistance are welcome to attend with a companion. All attendees must hold a valid ticket unless otherwise agreed in writing. If you have accessibility requirements, please contact us before booking so we can advise on the suitability of the venue.

Customer Conduct
 

Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd reserves the right to refuse future bookings, cancel existing bookings (subject to applicable consumer law), or cease correspondence where a customer behaves in an abusive, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory or harassing manner towards our staff, volunteers, venue partners or representatives, whether by email, telephone, social media or in person. This does not affect any statutory rights.

 

Ghostfinder Paranormal Events Ltd recommends that all guests read this Refund Policy carefully before booking. Purchasing a ticket confirms acceptance of these terms. Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.
