The Old White Horse Ghost Hunt

This paranormal investigation will be led by Barri Ghai from TV's Help! My House is Haunted and members of the Ghostfinder Paranormal Society. A maximum of 30 guest places will be made available, so please book early to avoid disappointment. 

The event starts at 8pm with refreshments and a brief presentation hosted by Barri before the investigation begins. The ghost hunt will finish promptly at 1am. All guests will get to work with Barri and also the GPS team throughout the evening in groups. Three teams will investigate this large building using the latest in paranormal investigation techniques and equipment to gather real paranormal evidence. Experiments will be carried out including Instrumental Trans-Communication (ITC), Mirror Scrying and Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP). 

There will be a variety of hot and cold refreshments available to all guests including some light snacks, but it is advisable to bring your own food or eat before the event. There is a Harvester restaurant located across the street.

Parking on the property is not available for guests, so please use local on street free parking. There are also several hotels nearby with rooms averaging £55 per night. 

About the Old White Horse

The Old White Horse is a beautiful family home, but now also operates as a tea room in the village of Hockliffe in Bedfordshire. The property is a seventeenth century former coaching inn and hotel, but the land actually dates back to roman times. The property once belonged to the Gilpin family along with other inns in the village, and the writer Daniel Defoe is believed to have been a frequent visitor. 

The Old White Horse has been previously known as the as the White Horse Inn and also White Horse Farm. In the 1930's the house acted as a boarding school and then a Tommy Gun range during the Second World War. The family that live there now have reported ghostly activity which include a young girl seen in the nursery room and upper bedrooms. Mysterious childlike handprints have also been seen on an old mirror. There have been reports of footsteps, disembodied voices and unexplained sounds. The owners have also reported latched doors inexplicably opening on their own, and seeing shadow figures around the house. What will you experience?
